It’s all in the Ballast

Plug and play. It's that easy.
What is plug and play anyway? Ever plug a phone line into a wall jack? That is plug and play easy. Easylite ILS ballasts, relays, controls, and sensors connect and communicate using our pre-terminated, plenum rated cable. Go ahead, connect ballasts, switches, relays and sensors, configure and reconfigure lighting zones. Easylite ILS does all these things using plug and play low voltage cable.
Avoid line voltage hassles. Competing systems use line voltage terminations to relays, switches and sensors, or they have line voltage terminations for their low voltage power packs. Line voltage terminations are not plug and play: only licensed electricians get the go ahead here. With an Easylite ILS, you configure controlled lighting zones using low voltage cable, so the layout of your line voltage circuits doesn’t matter. Because Easylite ILS controls are independent of your line voltage circuits, Easylite gives you more flexibility when designing branch wiring, letting you load circuit breakers to capacity, which helps achieve maximum efficiency. Fewer circuits, less conduit, and less installation labor means a lower installed system cost.
Use a patented power source: Easylite ballasts supply all the low voltage power needed to run Easylite ILS controls and sensors. All dimming fluorescent ballasts bring line voltage power to the lamps. Easylite developed and patented the only ballasts that transform part of that incoming line voltage power, turning it into a low voltage power source that runs the Easylite system, its sensors, and its controls. Easylite’s low voltage plug and play connections are safe enough for anyone to install.
Dim proportionally, save energy. Easylite ballasts use frequency modulation to dim single and multiple fluorescent bulbs (T5, T5 HO and T8) proportionally from 100% to 10% lumen output, and all Easylite ballasts feature parallel-wired start, and on/off capability. The more you dim, the more you save.
Line voltage power is expensive, use it intelligently. With Easylite ballasts, the input that uses the least electricity wins, unless the user overrides. Easylite lighting zones are addressable, so they listen to input from Easylite sensors, switches and relays, simple timers, or existing Building Automation Systems. By always choosing the lowest input to the ballast, the Easylite ILS is always trying to conserve energy, and shrink your electric bill.
