Egress/Night Light Module

Egress/Night Light Module

Allows proportional dimming between 100% and 10% brightness, prevents off signal to dedicated egress fixtures. Facilities that require light fixtures run all day and all night can save energy with Easylite’s Egress fixture module. Most egress fixtures run at 100% output day and night, but when you connect the Egress fixture module to dedicated egress fixtures, they respond to the Easylite ILS proportional dimming control signal, instead of always being on at full bright.
At night, the Egress fixture controller prevents an off signal from being passed to the connected fixture, and instead takes the fixture to full dim (10% light output).
Simple installation on dedicated fixtures.
Plug an Egress Module (night light) into the Easylite ILS control loop and the Easylite Ballast, and your Easylite ILS detects an off signal and causes the connected fixture to default to full dim output while the input control is off.
Energy savings through off hour dimming.
With an Easylite Egress Module, your dedicated egress fixtures track the Easylite ILS control signal input during scheduled operating hours, and during scheduled off hours, the fixture goes to full dim, cutting power use by 75%.

Link-Easy

Subzoning Module

The Link-Easy is an electronic control module that allows the user to modify an existing Easylite ILS dimming zone. With a Link-Easy you can isolate a sub-zone in a larger zone that may require local control such as dimmers, occupancy sensors, or Daylite Harvesters. The Link-Easy also allows the application of multiple controls to a zone or sub-zone. The Link-Easy simply compares two control inputs, and then sends the dimmest signal to the fixtures.
Need lighting for off-hour employees and maintenance staff without operating the entire lighting zone? The Link-Easy module can provide override of the present setting for a pre-set time period, enabling full control of the lighting zone. Configure and reconfigure, the Link-Easy offers easy modification of a lighting zone after construction for sub-zoning or additional control features.
Unlimited flexibility to sub-zone fixtures anywhere within the three-wire analog control circuit connecting Easylite ballasts.
Quick, low-cost modifications and options can be implemented using low-voltage ‘plug-and-play’ wiring and components.
No power wiring is necessary to effect major or minor system sub-zoning.
Override capability. The Link-Easy may be used to override a control setting for a fixed time period (a zone that is off via BAS scheduling may be turned on during “off” hours; or an executive office may be manually adjusted to any desired setting during daylight harvesting). In the override mode, the override signal has unlimited capability to operate the fixtures from full bright to dim for the pre-set time period.
End of override warning. At the end of the pre-set period, the output signal may be set to cycle the lights from bright to dim on 30-second intervals for five minutes as a warning prior to returning lights to the previous setting.
Pre-set override periods. All override options are accessed via “bit” switches located inside the module enclosure. The bit switch settings may be sequenced to four different pre-set periods of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours and 4 hours.

Easylite Occupancy Sensors

Occupancy Sensors

(Built exclusively for Easylite by Sensor Switch)
Easylite’s line of Passive Infrared, ballast-powered occupancy sensors are made for use in Office Buildings, Warehouses, Health Care and Educational Institutions.
A sensor for every application. For large rooms and Warehouse applications, Easylite’s ceiling and fixture mounted high bay sensors work perfectly. And for lower ceiling heights Easylite offers fixture or ceiling mounted sensors with standard, and extended range detection.
Run on ballast power, no relays or line voltage needed. All of Easylite’s occupancy sensors run on low voltage, ballast provided power. Control of the fixtures in the sensor area is delivered directly from the sensor(s) to the Easylite ILS control loop with no relays or line voltage interface required.
Benefit from Easylite’s Warehouse On Demand Strategy. When your warehouse is in full swing, we program lights to operate at any specified light level (from 100% to 10%). When an area is occupied, the programmed light level is in effect: when unoccupied, the lights go to full dim (25% power). By controlling to full dim instead of shutting lamps off, you increase lamp life, building security, and employee safety.
When you use Easylite’s Warehouse On Demand strategy to schedule low use areas “off” during operating hours, sensors will light a path for any occupant, keeping unnecessary fixtures off, and only lighting the occupied area. When your sensors light a path, and not an entire zone, you maximize your facility’s energy efficiency.
Push-Button Programmable. Program high and low light levels based on occupancy, energy efficiency, or desired light level at task plane surfaces.
Adjustable time delay (30 seconds to 30 minutes)
Enable Warehouse On Demand function
Adding sensors is simple. Plug your Easylite sensor into an Easylite ballast using our plenum rated, pre-terminated cable, then mount the sensor on a fixture, or on the ceiling. It’s that simple.

Zone Controller

Addressable Zoning Module
The Zone Controller zoning module allows you to simultaneously control your lighting system locally using Easylite controls, and remotely using a PC. Create individual, addressable zones of lighting and independently control each zone’s usage parameters. Separate areas of your facility can enjoy different light levels, independent schedules for centralized time-clock control, and unique strategies for “Peak Demand Load Shedding”. For improved user comfort and maximum lighting efficiency the Zone Controller combines personal local control with centralized building management.
Easy to scale. The Zone Controller system is configured by using low voltage wiring to “daisy chain” up to 64 Zone Controller modules throughout a facility. Low voltage wiring eliminates the need to install a separate home run from each zone back to a central computer. Link central computers together and you enjoy unlimited scalability.
Four independent zones per Zone Controller. Each Zone Controller offers centralized control for up to four independently addressable lighting zones. Each of these four zones has a unique address and can be independently controlled for light level by time of day operation.
Low voltage control signal. Zone Controller modules receive the digital control signal generated by the EasyTalk control system, interpret any changes requested for its zones, and then translate that command into a low- voltage analog control signal for the appropriate lighting zone.
Interface with your peak KW demand meter. A facility’s peak kW demand meter may be connected to the Zone Controller loop, allowing scheduled proportional reduction in zone light levels to maintain the building at a pre-set peak demand billing level.

Low Voltage Cable

Easylite Low-Voltage Control Wiring System

Easylite’s ILS (Integrated Lighting System) uses Easylite’s Plug and Play low voltage cables to replace line voltage wiring and eliminate the need for circuiting of lighting zones at the power panel. With an Easylite ILS, you configure controlled lighting zones using low voltage cable, so the layout of your line voltage circuits doesn’t matter. Because Easylite ILS controls are independent of your line voltage circuits, Easylite gives you more flexibility when designing branch wiring, letting you load circuit breakers to capacity, which helps achieve maximum efficiency. Fewer circuits, less conduit, and less installation labor means a lower installed system cost.
Factory terminated and pretested. All Easylite low voltage cable is factory terminated and tested to ensure correct polarization and compatibility with all Easylite system components. Eliminates installer termination errors.

Daylight Harvester

Light Level Correcting Photocell

Easylite’s Daylight Harvester is a photo-sensor/controller that sets and maintains a user-adjustable light level in a lighting control zone by sensing ambient or artificial light. The Daylight Harvester is powered by Easylite ballasts and may be inserted anywhere in the fixture chain to provide local daylight/fixture response.
Mount a Daylight Harvester in the ceiling grid or on the lower surface of an indirect fixture. Then mount the remote slimline controller in the ceiling plenum, or in the ballast channel of a fixture within 18’ of the sensor. Working with an Easylite ILS, the Daylight Harvester’s slimline controller can operate up to 100 ballasts/fixtures.
Flashlight commissioning. Establish a desired footcandle level in the work area beneath the sensor, place a light meter on the working surface, and use a flashlight to set the Daylite Harvester at that light level.
Continuous sampling. The Daylight Harvester continuously samples the light level and adjusts control output to the fixtures, smoothly maintaining the light level set point.
Consistent light level. Easylite’s built-in control algorithm ensures a consistent minimum light level in all areas of the space (based on light contribution from natural and artificial sources).
